Daily check-in
Free
- A morning reminder on their phone
- One big “I’m okay” button, also on the notification
- You hear if they have not checked in
A calm note each morning, from the phone they already carry. Nothing for them to remember.
A text that sits on Delivered. A call that rings out. Then a long hour of maybe.
Mom is up. Moving at 7:12, 900 steps. A normal morning.
Morning Signal reads the first steps of the day from your parent’s own iPhone, and tells you in one line.
No buttons for them to remember. The phone they already carry does the checking.
The first two weeks
Fourteen mornings to learn when they tend to get going. After that, it speaks up only when a morning is clearly different.
Day 14 of 14
First moved at 7:12. Usually up between 6:54 and 7:24.
Only if a morning looks off
A gentle nudge to their phone, then a call they answer by pressing 1. Only then does it tell you, and a neighbor if you choose.
Mom is okay.
Mom tapped “I’m okay”.
Any movement or an “I’m okay” ends it, and everyone hears. Morning Signal is not an emergency service.
For your parent
They agree on their own phone, see exactly what is shared, and can stop at any time.
Setup takes five minutes, with you beside them. Big text, one giant button, nothing to remember.

For the family
Brothers, sisters, whoever checks in. Everyone hears the same thing, for one price.
Mom: moving 7:12 · 900 steps · normal
And a glance at the Lock Screen, without opening the app.
Over the weeks
Watch their rhythm settle. Once a month, a short report to keep or share.
In October, Mom usually got going around 7:12. About 1,900 steps a day.
Plain facts, from how the app is built.
It sends when they first moved, hourly steps and their “I’m okay” taps. Raw Health and motion samples never leave the phone.
It reads step count and stand hours from Health, nothing else, and never writes to Health.
Your parent agrees on their phone, sees what is shared, and can stop sharing at any time, which deletes every morning shared.
A matching two-digit number on both phones, so a guessed code never joins your family.
Whoever set it up can delete the whole family in Settings, every morning with it. Phone reports are kept for 90 days.
Anonymous usage only if you say yes. Your parent’s phone never sends it.
A reminder and an “I’m okay” button, at no cost. Plus adds the routine, the ladder, the family and the report.
